The T-32 design was a pure aerofoil section similar to the wing section of a Boeing airplane: furthermore the Tank was the world’s first all enveloping racing car. Never before aerodynamics's principles had been applied in the motor racing history. The Bugatti Type 32 broke new ground with its new and revolutionary design introduced in the 1923 anticipating by decades concepts seen decades later in modern F1 cars.
